The Veneto farmhouse Frassanelle is located in the Euganean Hills Regional Park, in a unique natural environment and plunged in the rural atmosphere of past century. Our holiday apartments in Veneto are quite close to some of the most beautiful cities of art of Veneto like Padova (20Km), Vicenza (20km) and Venice (70km), representing therefore the perfect destination for a relaxing farmhouse holiday near Venice. Our guests dispose of 4 studio apartments, a spacious and typical venetian holiday apartment for 6 people and an amazing villa for four people in neoclassical style.

Torretta (farmhouse apartments Vinca, Elleboro, Lilium and Silene): in the central part of this Veneto farmhouse includes 4 holiday apartments, each one ideal for two people and built on two levels. The living area has a kitchen, a living room and a bathroom; on the mezzanine you have the double bedroom and another small bathroom.

Aster: is a big apartment for six people, perfect for a holiday near Venice with family or friends. It has a central living area with kitchen and living room, three double bedrooms and two bathrooms. Furnished with taste and functionality, it disposes of every comfort to offer you an unforgettable holiday in a Veneto farmhouse.

Villa Tempietto: This romantic holiday house for 4 people is located in a very peaceful spot of our park. Its beautiful façade, resembling that of a neoclassical temple, has been recently restored. The porch, facing a colourful meadow, is equipped for al fresco meals. Tempietto has two double bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a dining room with kitchen and a comfortable and tasteful living room with fireplace.

All of our holiday apartments near Padua are surrounded by the age-old 60 hectare park, which is covered by several trails, some of them leading to one of the most beautiful and challenging golf clubs in Veneto. Upon request we can arrange ad hoc golf packages.

Falconry: every Monday morning at 9.30am (in summer) or 10.00am (other seasons) Alantica falconers are available to take our guests on a free tour of our private park while teaching them something about the ancient art of falconry. The participants will visit the grottoes and learn the history of Frassanelle and the noble Papafava family. Visits in english.

How to get to the Frassanelle holiday villas:
From Padua: Take the STRADA DEI COLLI, and at BRESSEO turn right towards MONTEMERLO, at the first stop sign turn right, follow the main road for 1.8 km. Don’t go straight ahead to the Frassanelle Golf Club, instead follow the directions for the motorway until you reach a sign on the left that indicating Frassanelle. Follow the road for 1 km, go through the gate on the left which is marked with 2 large broken stone columns, then follow the lane to the end.

From the Milan – Venice motorway: Motorway MI-VE(A4): at the GRISIGNANO exit after the tollbooth go straight ahead and then right towards Vicenza, on the Padova-Vicenza main road take the left towards MONTEGALDA, pass through MONTEGALDA, MONTEGALDELLA and CERVARESE S. CROCE, at the traffic lights in FOSSONA, go straight towards Montemerlo, after 1.4 km turn right for FRASSANELLE, after 1 km on the right you will find the entrance to the FRASSANELLE holiday villas.

From Rome: Bologna – Padua Motorway (A13): at the end of the motorway, keep going straight on the left lane for 7 km. Turn right for TERME EUGANE, soon after turn left for COLLI EUGANI, keep going straight on for 10 km. At BRESSEO turn right for MONTEMERLO, at the first stop sign turn right, follow the main road for 1.8 km. Don’t go straight ahead to the Frassanelle Golf Club, instead follow the directions for the motorway until you reach a sign on the left indicating Frassanelle. Follow the road for 1 km, go through the gate on the left which is marked with two stone columns and follow the lane.

Euganean Hills: besides the many nature trails allowing you to observe the local plants and animals, the Euganean Hills offer to its visitors landscapes and sites of unequalled beauty. A suggestion for a one-day tour: Starting from Monselice to visit the medieval castle once belonging to Ezzelino da Romano – visit to the village Arquà Petrarca and to the poet’s house; possible visit to an oil farm – visit to the garden of Villa Barbarigo Valsanzibio.

Veneto Villas Tour:
A holiday in an italian farmhouse can give you the chance to learn more about the impressing architecture of Padova and Vicenza provinces. Near Frassanelle and open to the public there are Villa Pisani in Lonigo and Villa Poiana. Not farer than 20 km you can visit the famous Villa Rotonda, Villa Valmarana ai Nani with the beautiful frescoes by the Tiepolos, and in Costozza, Villa da Schio.
